I have been working on my WIPS over the Bank Holiday weekend. I have added a lot more straight stitching to the camper van star quilt. The pattern for this quilt was designed by Georgette Dell'Orco for Crazy Quilt Designs and is called Stars Aligned. I have also completed some more outline stitching on the Lily and Will fabric quilt. I have pieced together some of the stars from the two star quilts. The pattern for the star quilts is called Starlight Express by Lynne Edwards and was printed in the August 2011 British Patchwork and Quilting magazine.
I have made a lot more pink fabric hexes and some white ones. I have a parcel ready to collect at the post office full of blue fabrics for hexes and another two quilts which I have just downloaded patterns for!
I feel as though I have made little progress as I only did small amounts on each project.
I I have realised I am transfixed by quilts with star patterns.
