Bank holiday update!

Two extra days off work to be spent sewing and walking.  Walked along a beach at nine this morning and had a clear unhazy view of The Needles.  Then home to sew.
I have managed to sew the binding onto the industrial quilt so now it looks like this

and it was sewn by this old beauty

which I am guessing must be about 25 years old.  Its a Brother VX-2015.  Complete with my 1/4 inch mark tape.  The quilt only needs a bit of hand stitching on each corner and a label.  I will have to wait to do the label as I do circular ones with machine text which is on my seized machine!
